Blake Smells

Blake Snell, and apparently the rest of Major League Baseball is upset about losing some salary due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This all coming after the MLB agreed not only to pay the players during the post-poned season, but to allow service time to be credited. This means that Tribe fans “enjoying Lindor when we have him” are missing out on an entire season of exactly that. Just to keep the players happy and take care of their own.
The MLB looked great after deciding to pay their players, even if it was prorated, during crazy times like these. It never fails that greedy millionaires continue to be greedy though. Major League Baseball presented a deal to the players association with hopes to get the season under way. The owners offered to split all revenue with the players 50/50 once baseball operations resume in July. That’s clearly not enough to please Snell or the rest of these players.
The Tampa Bay product spoke out on his feelings towards the deal on Twitch, stating: “I’m not splitting no revenue man I want all mine, y’all don’t get it, I’m risking my life, if I’m gonna play I should get the money I signed to get paid, I shouldn’t be getting half of what I’m getting paid because the season is cut in half”
This is enough for me to publicly call Blake Snell a petty little bitch. You should get paid a full seasons worth for only playing a half? Have you looked around you Blake? Most of America is in shambles as the government has shut us down from the COVID-19 pandemic. Personally, I’ve worked half as much as I’m used to and I’m getting paid 5% of what I’m used to. I WISH I SAW HALF, but sure, let’s publicly fight over money while half the world is suffering. I must also note that living in Florida alone puts your life at greater risk, let’s factor in the flights, travel, parties, a line drive to the temple, tons of possibilities outside of the normal realm for a baseball player. At the same time, Susan bags groceries for 8 hours a day, touching 5,000 items that were finger fucked by shoppers. Talk about risk, and all for ten dollars an hour.
I guess we are supposed to feel your concern during times like this. Taking the mound once a week, a whopping 60ft from your opponent, for only a million dollar salary. How could they even think of just splitting revenue with these conditions?? You’re officially my least favorite Blake in the world and believe me that’s not easy to achieve. Blake Smells.
